Maintaining traditional Monster silhouette, the 696 now looks more muscular. Wide tank decreases to a thin waist of what Ducati says is a small comfortable chair, which must ensure sure-footed confidence when at the traffic lights.

Large diameter Hybrid Trellis frame combines a sub-style aluminum frame and swingarm while minimalist instrumentation and simple controls at the front of the Monster contrast with twin, bold, Ducati-style Mufflers at the back to enhance the city's image-ready.

With a fuel tank form created with ingenious removable outer skins that enable quick and easy color swaps, changing the personality of Monster has never been easier. Quickly removed the rear seat cover makes it even easier to completely color coordinate and, when removed, reveals
